Pro-Khalistan activities: Governor to discuss Punjab’s law and order situation with Amit Shah today

• The Punjab Governor will meet UHM Amit Shah on Wednesday to discuss the law and order situation in the state in the wake of violent activities by Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh and his supporters during the past week, sources said
• On Thursday, February 23, Amritpal Singh's supporters clashed with police officials and stormed the police complex in Punjab's Amritsar district to protest the arrest of one of his associates
• They broke the barricades erected by the police and clashed with the police officials

The Punjab Governor will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday to discuss the law and order situation in the state in the wake of violent activities by Khalistan preacher Amritpal Singh and his supporters during the past week, sources said.

On Thursday, February 23, Amritpal Singh's supporters clashed with police officials and stormed the police complex in Punjab's Amritsar district to protest the arrest of one of his associates, Lovepreet Toofan.
Police have charged Singh and his supporters with allegedly kidnapping the man.

Dozens of supporters, led by Singh, gathered at the Ajnal police station with swords and other weapons. They broke the barricades erected by the police and clashed with the police officials.
